Maybe it's a sign of my age, but I find it amazing that so many people claim not to think that accurate spelling is important. It definitely is in my books!

One in four candidates claim that they wouldn’t be embarrassed about a spelling mistake on their CV, according to a new report from Oxford Open Learning Trust. Despite the fact that more than half (56%) would judge someone else based on their spelling, over a quarter of those asked said they (26%) wouldn’t feel at all embarrassed about making a mistake on a job application.
