Last week over 70 leading executive search professionals joined us for a GDPR Breakfast Briefing event. Attendees heard from three specialist speakers on the latest developments to the GDPR,  the benefit of technology in the compliance journey and some industry examples of where things could go wrong under the new data protection legislation. Guests found the chance to question our expert panel of particular value and it was also great to address and clarify some of the more controversial aspects of the GDPR, particularly the aspect of legal basis for processing of data.

Our latest blog: The age of consent - a GDPR perspective is certainly worth a read if you are unsure whether you should seek to rely on consent, or whether the legal basis of legitimate interest may be a better option to satisfy the requirements of the GDPR. Thanks again to our expert panel, Renzo Marchini from leading law firm Fieldfisher, Helen Haddon of ComplyGDPR and Invenias' Chief Information Security Officer and CFO, Andy Warren.

We're now taking registrations for our GDPR Breakfast Briefing Event on 21st September in Reading. Join us and our expert panel for the latest developments to the data protection legislation and how you can best prepare for the GDPR.  For more information and resources relating to the GDPR, visit
