There is a level of operational and volume hiring where much of the contact can be managed through automation. But for strategic and executive level roles, I am not convinced that replacing the human element of the hiring process would be well received by today's top candidates. There are elements of a process that could make use of automation with tools like chatbots (reminders ahead of interviews etc) and nurturing talent pools with automated recruitment marketing, but the process of building strong relationships relies on direct contact with a credible and knowledgeable recruitment partner, something bots simply cannot achieve.
