When reviewing hiring outcomes, diversity is a common bench marking tool. However, diversity should not be viewed simply as a tick box exercise, but instead as an opportunity to increase innovation, skill-sets and productivity within a workforce. In addition, organizations that embrace diversity are often viewed more favorably by candidates and future clients. In a recent Credit Suisse survey of almost 3,400 companies, findings suggest there are clear benefits afforded to organizations with a higher number of women in strategic positions.
The greater the number of women, the better the results. There are clear opportunities for organizations who understand the value creation of diversity. Seeing greater diversity is a genuine sign of corporate change and a delivery of enhanced corporate performance.
